The December / January  2010 Rev B database has the following changes:

The Daily Buzz digital feed on Galaxy 19 C-band Transponder 14 D03

The Texas lottery on Galaxy 19 C-band Transponder 9 Slot A and AMC-16 Ku-band Transponder 14 Slot A

Legacy TV on Galaxy 19 C-band Transponder 14 D02

Illinois Lottery on AMC-15 Ku-band Transponder 20 Slot A

TXCN on Galaxy 23 C-band Transponder 4 D01

ESPN on Galaxy 17 Ku-band Transponder 21 D01

The December / January  2010 database has the following changes:

NASA is moving to AMC-3 effective Jan 16th.  The current NASA channels will be removed in a later database
AMC-3 C-band transponder 15 for the Public, Educational, Media and HD feeds
AMC-3 C-band transponder 9 for the LIMO (live Interactive Media Outlet) feed

Added new HatSat channel, H15 to galaxy 28 Ku-band transponder 24

Removed NBC on AMC-1 Ku-band Transponder 9

Added Vista on Galaxy 17 Ku-band Transponder 15 (HD and SD)

Added three alternatives for NBC on AMC-1 transponder 7.  It seems that when NBC transmits from NY, they have 4 services (Ch14, 16 17 and 7) and three services when transmitting from Burbank (Ch16, 17 and 7).  This makes the service selection off by 1 when the transmission is from Burbank.  Until NBC corrects this mismatch, we have included a set of Burbank channels but you will have to know where the transmission is coming from. (The service selection uses the service number as an index on most receivers).

Added Mexicanl on Satmex 6 C-band transponder 7

Added new SES inventory on AMC-6 C-band transponder 12

Added new basketball on Galaxy 19 C-band transponder 4

Added Basketball on Galaxy 19 C-band transponder 6 lower

Added basketball on Galaxy 17 Ku-band transponder 20 Upper (D16)

Added HD basketball on Galaxy 19 C-band transponder 5

Added new CBS Newspath inventory on Galaxy 16 Ku-band transponder 22

Installing a New Satellite database on your CompuSat system

Click here to view instructions for installing a new factory database on your CompuSat system. One very important thing to remember when installing:

BE SURE to unzip the files to the top level of your CompuSat directory; for example, C:\Compusat.230.

Failure to do this is the #1 reason for database installation problems.

DownloadING Channel Listing References

You can download PDFs of all the channel listings for the database:

Viewing the Satellite History Chart

CompuSat maintains a satellite history chart that you can use to see which satellites have changed names and/or orbital position, and when the change occured.

We strongly recommend that you review the latest changes in the satellite history chart after updating your database.
