Image Communications regularly releases updated satellite databases that contain the latest satellite information. You can always visit this page to retrieve the latest version of our factory database.

Viewing the Satellite History Chart

CompuSat maintains a satellite history chart that you can use to see which satellites have changed names and/or orbital position, and when the change occured.

Changes in recent databases

MAYJUN13C - The May/Jun 13 Rev C database has the following changes:

Added Mega Millions HD on AMC-9 C10 Slot A

Removed MeTV and ThisTV from AMC-1 C02

Removed MeTV and ThisTV from SES-2 C07

MeTV and ThisTV are found on SES-1 transponder 7

MAYJUN13B - The May/Jun 13 Rev B database has the following changes:

Replaced the CW channels on Galaxy 17 C01.  The new S2-8PSK feed has 5 services.

MAYJUN13A - The May/Jun 13 Rev A database has the following changes:

Added CTNS Daily Feed on Galaxy 3C K14 D01

Removed CTNS from Galaxy 3c K20 Slot E

Added two additional services for CNN Newssource on SES-2 Ku transponder 13.

Added AMC-15 K07 Slot A

Added Galaxy 17 K21 Lower – Inside Washington

Added a new service to Status on SES-2 C23 Srvc 9

MARAPR13C - The March/April 13 Rev C database has the following changes:

We have updated a few satellite names, mostly in the Atlantic sky.  Most users do not need these satellites and they are not in your satellite pick lists. We include these for special situation so that the dish can be pointed to the correct location.

If CompuSat does complain about missing satellites, the following shows the old name and the new name:

Telstar 11 (Orion1)  Ku-band is renamed Telstar 11  Ku-band at 37.5°W
NSS 10  C-band has been added at 37.5°W

NSS 806  C-band has been added at 40.5°W

Intelsat 3R  C-band is renamed to Intelsat 11  C-band at 43.1°W

Intelsat 14  C-band has been added at 45.0°W
Intelsat 14  Ku-band has been added at 45.0°W

Intelsat 1R  C-band moved to 50.0°W from 45.0°W
Intelsat 1R  Ku-band moved to 50.0°W from 45.0°W

Intelsat 23  C-band has been added at 53.0°W
Intelsat 23  Ku-band has been added at 53.0°W

Intelsat 805  C-band has been added at 55.5°W
Galaxy 11  Ku-band has been added at 55.5°W

Intelsat 21  C-band has been added at 58.0°W
Intelsat 21  Ku-band has been added at 58.0°W

Intelsat 16  C-band has been added at 58.1°W

Amazonas 1/2  C-band has been added at 61.0°W

MARAPR13B - The March/April 13 Rev B database has the following changes:

Fixed CBS on Galaxy 19 C23.  Old 30.0 symbol rate for the MCPC channels.

Added CBS on Galaxy 19 C23 D01.  This using the symbol rate of 32.362.

MARAPR13A - The March/April 13 Rev A database has the following changes:

Changed Fission on SES-2 C23.  This MCPC now has INN News, KWWF, Estrella East & West, Stratus MC BU, KUKC, WUVF/WLSE and WUMN-TV

Added CBS Sports on Galaxy 25 C19

Updated Galaxy 15 C09 with 5 channels of Regional Sports

Updated CBS on Galaxy 19 C23.  New symbol rate for the MCPC channels.

Added Galaxy 25 K19 D01 and D02.

Added Clearchannel News Channels on SES-1 Ku transponder 1 channels J & K

JANFEB13C - The January/February Rev B database has the following changes:
